Portfolio Investment Management

FRONTON has been designed to simplify Portfolio Management based on different reference models and route orders to market for execution and subsequent distribution, if applicable. FRONTON can be fully integrated with any back-office application, since it features synchronisation tools that can be easily adapted to any environment. As expected, FRONTON provides native integration to our GOLF application.

FRONTON uses state-of-the-art technology to capture real-time instrument and currency quotes, send orders and receive executions, connecting with the prevalent financial information providers' platforms including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and Six Telekurs.

Allows Managers to define their own performance scenarios, segmenting portfolios under management by income type, currency and other variables defined by the latter, who can operate on certain or all instruments at the same time.

The main portfolio management system used by the FRONTON is the creation of model portfolios connected to the manager's strategies and clients’ profiles. The manager can adapt portfolios to the model by using different parameters to be defined or selected at the time of execution. This approach allows the manager great flexibility whilst retaining control.

Generated orders are grouped into global orders to be sent to market through connections with the usual providers’ platforms. Once orders are routed to the market, they will be executed and execution confirmations received via the same channel.

Executions received can be distributed to clients using several distribution algorithms, which provide a fair distribution and optimize operational cost. Once the distribution is completed, operations executed per client are generated and communicated accordingly to the back-office applications.

Another portfolio adjustment process allows visualising the portfolio’s position on an interactive screen that fluctuates based on current market prices. Managers can check the evolution of the portfolio, include purchase or sale simulations and launch orders with a single click.

FRONTON allows real-time tracking of Coefficients and Investment Limits defined by Regulatory Bodies and the client, Management Company or Company.

Like all our applications, FRONTON is adapted to MiFID II.
